Job Description

Flagger Force, the industry leader in temporary traffic control, is currently hiring an Internal Communication Coordinator for their corporate office.

The Internal Communication Coordinator role will be responsible for managing an internal social media platform across the entire organization. This entails professionally monitoring, responding to, and escalating communication activity, while assisting in maintenance of the platform health and supporting general internal communications. This includes fostering engagement, planning and developing content, working with analytical tools and proprietary dashboards as well as producing actionable reports to inform strategic decision making.

Job Functions:

  • Monitor employee sentiment through a variety of channels, tools, and methods
  • Respond to and escalate if need be, communication activity across the platform
  • Develop well-written content aimed to enhance the platform and the organization
  • Oversee platform channel health and support general internal communications
  • Effectively engage with a wide range of personalities and user needs
  • Innovate—create new content and ideas to improve overall internal communication
  • Assist in making key judgements and recommendations based off data analysis
  • Enthusiastically contribute and collaborate in a team environment
  • Perform special projects as needed or assigned by sales and marketing manager or vice president
  • Provide additional reporting and analytics as needed

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or other related fields
  • 3+ years of communications and/or professional social media management experience
  • Proven history of engagement with a diverse population
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software systems
  • Exceptional written, verbal, analytical, and reasoning skills
  • Thorough understanding of brand science and brand communications
  • Comfortable performing in a fast-pace working environment that may include: ambiguity, emergent and shifting priorities
  • Human resources experience is a plus
  • Design, photography, video, and other creative skill sets are a plus
