The Entry Level Billing Coordinator position is primarily responsible for all aspects of the weekly billing process. This includes processing data and creating invoices, communicating with clients, and maintaining electronic files while acting in accordance with company values, vision and mission.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Organize & sort data for invoice creation. Run reports needed for weekly billing.
  • Enter all invoices into billing system in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Research and verify discrepancies and resolve basic billing issues for clients.
  • Communicate to clients any changes made to invoices.
  • Communicate to payroll team any changes made that affect hours paid.
  • Perform bookkeeping work, including creating and posting invoices and payments
  • Has a basic understanding of the automated billing process.
  • Answer questions that arise from the hours reconciliation process.

 

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Perform special projects as needed or assigned by Accounting Supervisor

  • Additional reporting, analytics, auditing as required

  • Attend and participate in various department meetings as necessary

  • Filing of invoices

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software systems

  • Exceptional verbal, written, analytical and reasoning skills
